Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We ate at Good Taste Restaurant and it really lives up to the hype. The servings are huge and nakakabusog, plus the prices are mura for the amount you get. The cute robot servers were also a fun touch. Tip: go early. We went around 10am and got in with no line, but soon after, ang dami nang tao waiting. It gets crowded fast during lunch and dinner, so timing is key."
"We had our first lunch in Baguio at this restaurant. Parking is located in the basement. I must say that the serving of their rice meals is good for sharing especially if you're a light eater. We ordered 2 different rice meals and it is hard to finish that is why we asked to have it take-out. I would rate the wonton soup I ordered a 6/10 because the taste is not so-so to my liking. Overall, I gave this restaurant a 4-star because of their wide selection of foods that you can choose from. I really like that their dishes have veggies on it! Very healthy living hahaha! There are a lot of pastries (which I love), cakes and desserts but sadly, we were not able to try those since we are full. I ordered for take-out the peach mango overload which is my fave and I really really recommend it (promise)! Sayang since I haven't taken a picture of it. It only costs 90 pesos which is very affordable and it is really delish. Isa talaga sa mga babalikan ko pag nagvisit ako uli sa Baguio! Definitely will try their other foods as well."
"Price to quantity ratio is very good! We can barely finish the food we ordered. Veggies are fresh and the meats taste good. The queue is long and yet fast moving."
"I’ve heard that coming here at times there were long lines. When we came there was a small line and we were seated right away. There were 10 people in our group and they were able to accommodate us. The way it works is, you can either order “á la carte” or “family style.” They serve large portions for every dish. Serving for six could be serving for eight (in my opinion). The food is good (it’s ok). Nothing really special. However, I did love their butter chicken. It was sweet and savory , sticky and crispy. I can eat that alone with their fried rice. The price is not bad. I say it’s good for a big group since you can share all the food you order. Oh by the way, they also have a bake shop / bakery. I didn’t get anything but the baked goods looked delish. My friend did get a Tiramisu which she loved."
"Massive servings that feel like a mini fiesta on your table lol (come early cause lines get crazy), robot servers roaming around , garlic butter chicken looked like buffalo wings but tasted okay, bulalo was tender but simple, pancit veggie-heavy, and lumpiang shanghai was my clear fave, so meaty and perf sauce on the side — order light unless you’re ready to feast. airaalca.eats on IG!"
"A Baguio trip is not complete if you will not visit Good Taste. Everytime we went to Baguio, via Car, Bus, Big Bike, this is our go to destination without question. Why you ask me? 1. There is ample parking space at their basement. 2. The Food taste is awesome and their servings are very generous, one order is borderline for two persons. 3. They have robots that deliver your order. 4. They are open at 6am. perfect for Baguio Balikan Rides via Big Bikes. 5. They have a small bakery which serves Strawberry cakes (a lot of strawberries). 6. Their building is huge has a lot of floors that can accommodate a lot of people. 7. Do not come there at lunch or dinner time unless you are prepared to wait inline due to the sheer number of people going in the resto. 8. The staff are very helpful and ready to assist you. 9. There is good ventilation with the resto and if you are lucky, you can eat at tables near the windows to see the overlooking view of Burnham Park. 10. The price is very affordable. Highly recommended."
"It feels like a Chinese restaurant fever dream. There are robots serving food and non working dumbwaiters in a five-story building. We got the group meal b for ₱1850 to share between six people. We also decided to the sweet and sour pork, and ultimately we ended up with so much food we had to pack it up ourselves. The line outside is kind of long, but quick moving and the actual wait for the food isn’t too long either."
"Make sure you are hungry if you want your money’s worth here. Definitely a must stop while you’re in Baguio. I prefer going weekdays during lunch time as it’s less busy and you will likely get a table right away. Everything is shareable and the portion sizes are good that you can still have some takeaway. Miki Bihon is a must paired with inihaw na liempo. Their sinigang na baboy is also good! Can never go wrong with shanghai lumpia!"
